About the role
As an AI / ML Engineer at CleverCreator, you'll build the systems that route, augment, and evaluate the many models behind our products — from chat and code generation to image synthesis and adaptive tutoring.
You'll work close to the metal of the AI experience: prompt and context engineering, retrieval pipelines, streaming, caching, cost control, and the evaluation harnesses that keep quality high as we ship quickly.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain model-routing, RAG, and tool-calling pipelines across multiple providers.
- Design evaluation harnesses and quality metrics for generation tasks.
- Optimize latency, throughput, and cost across streaming inference paths.
- Partner with product to turn fuzzy AI capabilities into reliable features.
What we're looking for
- 4+ years in software engineering, with hands-on LLM/ML application work.
- Strong Python skills and experience with modern AI tooling and APIs.
- Solid grasp of retrieval, embeddings, and prompt/context engineering.
- A pragmatic, measurement-driven approach to model quality.
Nice to have
- Experience serving models in production at scale.
- Familiarity with vector databases and evaluation frameworks.
- Background in image-generation or speech pipelines.
